The Ravensworth Arms offers spacious bedrooms, some featuring super comfy, large beds and well-stocked drink trays with biscuits and chocolate for a pleasant stay. Situated conveniently close to attractions like Beamish and near Newcastle city center, it's a good value choice for many. The pub on-site is a highlight, noted for its traditional atmosphere and enjoyable food, with generous portions being a common experience; however, some guests have mentioned finding the rooms a bit too warm and humid. Breakfast is also a plus, with good quality options available, and the restaurant area boasts beautiful decor.

drawer absencechewy sirloin
the room i had was smaller than i expected and it lacked a unit with drawers , whether bedside or not. a small dining room chair in the corner was not useful , given the size of the room. the main meal food was inconsistent , some great , some awful. i'd advise avoiding the sirloin as it was difficult to cut and very chewy.
